Samsung: Hope Relay App

We produced a series of storyboard frames for the Hope Relay App campaign, staring footballer David Beckham.

Samsung Hope Relay App

London advertising agency, CHI & Partners gave our visualising artist, Bill a tight deadline to produce a series of pre-production storyboards and mock press ads for Samsung’s Olympic campaign, Hope Relay.

Samsung are encouraging people to take part in the Olympic Games and raising money for charities such as Kids Company and International Inspiration. With the Hope Relay app, every mile will donate £1 to a good cause, simply by tracking your run and creating a running character. Find out more at samsung.com!

Yoomoo “Ice Skater”

Devilfish asked us to visualise their new TV commercial for frozen yoghurt brand, YooMoo.

Three Blind Mice: Yoomoo scamps

In late Autumn 2011, Jess Kendrew ambled down to Covent Garden to meet Devilfish Creative’s Executive Creative Director, Ed Edwards.

Ed already had a fantastic idea for an advert in place, including the music he wanted to use, but he needed to visualise his written script and get one of our artists’ to draw up the frames in a beautifully fluid style which would mimic the commercials end result. After taking some scamps (above) for direction, we selected Linda for the task of storyboarding (below).

Here’s the finished ad, starring British Ice Skating Champion Jenna McCorkell!

To go with the storyboard frames, Devilfish also required a press ad; our most capable artist, Aaron drew & coloured up (below).

Visualising: Ambrosia Snack Pots

We were approached by London advertising agency, Dare to develop 4 scripts into pre-production keyframes for their latest TV commercial for Ambrosia.

Visualising: Ambrosia Snack Pots

Creatives, Danny Hunt and Gavin Torrance, asked the storyboards to show real people’s faces blended onto picnic objects; this was developed further to the finished commercial, now live in the UK!

Three Blind Mice visualising artist, Mark O lined and coloured these frames.

Work Spotting: Britain’s Got Talent

This week I’ve been spending my evenings watching the talented humans on Britain’s Got Talent. Some of the performers have been so amazing, I’ve accidentally dropped my cheese. Squeak!

To be honest, it’s not the singers or dancers I’m interested in, it’s the commercial breaks I love – and a good thing too, ITV offer many breaks to fill my appetite for advertising!

Amongst the spots for breakfast cereals and broadband, it’s been fantastic to watch AMV BBDO’s commercial for Snickers, featuring Joan Collins! Earlier this year, my Three Blind Mice colleagues had worked with the ad agency to produce a delicious 2D research animatic for the campaign.

SNICKERS: You’re Not You When You’re Hungry

Even now, the ad still makes me laugh – what a diva! (Click here to find out more)

Looking forward to the grand finals this weekend, can’t wait to see what else I’ll spot!

Ta Ra for now,
Leicester.

A Client’s Guide To Making An Animatic

The Three Blind Mice house team have crafted a short animation to help explain, particularly to those who may not completely understand the process of creating animatic, how it works.

A Client's Guide To Making An Animatic

Many of the wonderful folk who commission animatics, especially for the very first time, can be a little intimidated by the project they are about to embark upon. This piece tries to de-mistify the process in a fun, simple and effective way! Click here to watch!
